Main Purpose of the Job
The role will help translate our ambitions into actionable divisional plans, embedding sustainability into operational processes, decision-making and culture. This role has therefore the potential to achieve real impact for the business, communities, employees and the natural environment and create long-term value.
The ESG Manager acts as a trusted advisor to the Innovus leadership team, ensuring alignment with Group priorities across climate, environmental sustainability and social value.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of ESG priorities and goals within the division
- Identify environmental and social impacts, risks and opportunities, and support mitigation or value creation
- Drive integration of ESG considerations into operational processes, governance and decision-making
- Monitor, manage and report on ESG performance
- Deliver ESG initiatives that improve environmental performance and social impact
- Provide ESG expertise to support commercial activities, including bids and client engagement as needed
- Promote awareness, engagement and capability-building across the division
Areas of Responsibility / Accountability
Strategy Execution & Integration
- Translate climate, environmental and social value objectives into action plans with clear targets and milestones
- Identify, assess and escalate risks and opportunities
- Embed ESG considerations into business processes, including operations, procurement and project delivery
- Act as ESG subject matter expert
- Ensure alignment of sustainability initiatives with other divisional ESG leads and the Group commercial objectives
Performance & Reporting
- Monitor KPIs and track performance against targets, for example progress against net zero
- Contribute to external disclosures and reporting requirements
- Support carbon footprint measurement, including data collection, validation and analysis
- Embed a culture of continuous improvement and learning
Initiatives & Value Creation
- Design and drive initiatives that help achieve our ESG goals
- Promote innovation to enhance sustainability performance and efficiency
- Support employee engagement and behavioural change
Commercial & Business Development Support
- Provide ESG input into bids, proposals and client presentations
- Monitor evolving ESG requirements, trends and client expectations to inform our evolving strategy
Position in Organisation
This role reports operationally to the Divisional Leadership Team with a functional dotted line reporting relationship to the Head of ESG. The role is part of the ESG Steering Group.

Qualifications
- Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (e.g., environmental science, sustainability, or similar)
- Professional membership or certification (e.g., ISEP) relevant ESG or sustainability qualification is desirable
Experience
- Proven experience in ESG, sustainability or related roles within a corporate environment with a focus on carbon accounting, environmental performance management, and/or social value
- Experience translating strategy into operational delivery
- Experience working with data, KPIs and reporting frameworks
- Experience supporting bids, commercial processes or client engagement is desirable
- Experience working in Professional services is advantageous

- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Understands how ESG drives business value, risk management and competitive advantage
